| PA State Uniform Construction Code (UCC) Act 45 was signed into law in 1999 by Governor Ridge. The passage of the UCC and the regulations that will be promulgated by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry will change the way every building is constructed in the Commonwealth. Pennsylvania State Code Training Consortium web site serves as a clearinghouse for information on building code related training in Pennsylvania. This site includes a database of training being offered by member organizations for all sectors of the building and code enforcement community. BOCA International is a nonprofit member service organization dedicated to professional code administration and enforcement for the protection of public health, safety and welfare. The BOCA model codes are the predominate building codes used throughout the State of Pennsylvania. |
